Statistics without spin. Massless D=3 systems

Abstract

The "spin"-statistics connection is more properly a Lorentz-group-representation-statistics correlation: For massless excitations in D=3, spin is undefined, but spinors-despite being expressible in terms of scalars-are still fermions.
