Ozone Formation in Photochemical Oxidation of Organic Substances

Abstract

Most active atmospheric ozone-forming organics -- olefins, alcohols, and aldehydes. Reduction of nitrogen oxides as well as hydrocarbons is essential for control of Los Angeles smog.
