Hans Herbert Brintzinger (1935–2019)

Abstract

Hans Brintzinger sadly passed away on June 2, 2019 unexpectedly. This is a great loss not only for his family but also for his former students, colleagues, friends, and the entire scientific community. His discovery of molecular catalysts capable of stereoregular 1‐olefin polymerization defined a whole new field. His legacy extends to numerous young researchers influenced by him, who succeeded in academic and industrial careers.
