Structural Model Updating Using Expanded Modeshapes

A model updating procedure is being developed as part of a global structural health monitoring project which utilizes Bayesian probabilistic inference and the concept of expanded modeshapes. The method is described and results of tests using a small-scale laboratory model are discussed.
