The Study of Pegmatites Deposits

Contributors

Abstract

Early studies of pegmatites had a strongly descriptive flavor, were addressed more to mineralogic than to petrologic features, and resulted in some genetic interpretations that were based mainly upon observed geologic relationships. Corollary work in the laboratory centered about the goniometer, the petrographic microscope, and the wet chemical analysis.
