Stanley Mandelstam and my postdoctoral years at Berkeley
Abstract
From 1959 to 1961 I was a postdoc at U.C. Berkeley. Personally, I regard my postdoctoral period as "Golden Years" – finished with course taking and thesis writing, not yet burdened with classes to teach, students to mentor, grants to apply for. Lots of freedom, lots of things to explore in the beautiful Bay Area.
