Transmission and reflection of surface waves at a corner: 2. Rayleigh waves (theoretical)
Creators
Abstract
A Green's function method has been used to compute approximate values for the complex transmission and reflection coefficients for Rayleigh waves normally incident upon the corner of an homogeneous elastic wedge formed by two stress-free planes. Numerical values of the transmission and reflection coefficients have been computed as a function of Poisson's ratio and the angle of the wedge.
