The Lithium Isotope Ratio in F and G Field Stars

Abstract

A Fabry-Perot interferometer was used to obtain high-resolution profiles of the resonance line of Li i and λ6717.69 of Ca i in 14 bright F, G, and early K field stars. The observational data were fitted by computed theoretical line profiles to determine the rotational velocity, Li abundance, and Li isotope ratio for each star. The ^6Li/^7Li ratio was 0.1 or less in all the program stars
