Physics with the MINOS experiment

Abstract

The physics goals and expected sensitivities of MINOS for ν_μ disappearance and ν_e appearance are briefly discussed, as well as the latest atmospheric neutrino results based on 418 days of exposure of the MINOS far detector. The latter exclude the null oscillations hypothesis at the 98% confidence level and measure the charge ratio for atmospheric neutrinos.
