Visual Awareness and the Thalamic Intralaminar Nuclei
Abstract
We argue that the current known anatomy of connections between the intralaminar nuclei (ILN) of the thalmus and visual cortical areas makes it unlikely that neuronal activity in the ILN mediates visual awareness.
