Synthesis, structure, and reactivity of manganese complexes supported by an anionic, tripodal phosphino(borate) ligand

Abstract

Our group has been interested in how tripodal phosphine ligands that are strong-field donors affect the reactivity of late transition metal centers. To this end, manganese complexes supported by the anionic ligand PhB(CH_2PiPr_2)_3 have been prepared. The synthesis, structure, and reactivity of these complexes will be discussed.
