Abstract
We would like to thank R. H. Doremus for his interesting commentary on our paper on hydrogen defects in potassium feldspar, in which he offers reasoned alternative models for those stationary defects that we detected by infrared (IR) absorption measurements and for the mobile defects by which hydrogen contents changed during our annealing experiments (Doremus, 1998).
