In Vivo Photoacoustic Mapping of Sentinel Lymph Nodes Using Perfluorocarbon-based Nanoparticles

Abstract

We have developed perfluorocarbon nanoparticles loaded with near-infrared light absorbing dyes for photoacoustic tomography. We have successfully imaged nanoparticles in sentinel lymph nodes in rats in vivo using photoacoustic tomography.
